Spirited Magazine Launch Party Recap

“Creativity is a lot like looking at the world through a kaleidoscope. You look at a set of elements, the same ones everyone else sees, but then reassemble those floating bits and pieces into an enticing new possibility.” – Rosebeth Moss Kanter
[shared with me by brilliant photographer and personal friend Adrianne Dues]

The world is full of beautiful ideas.  It’s when the idea is born within someone who has the drive, determination and the resources to bring it to life that something magical occurs.

Spirited Magazine is one of those moments, brought to life by Amanda Antunes.  It is part online magazine, part exhibit, part performance piece.  In Amanda’s own words:

“When we first conceptualized Spirited, we imagined it would be more of an interactive installation project than an actual magazine.  We thought of it as a thematic journal of ideas, a progression of our identities both as a fiction and a reality.”

On October 3, the Lily Pad in Cambridge was converted into a backdrop for Spirited Magazine’s opening night.
