Photo Diary: Ghost Town

I love Beacon Hill on Halloween!  Every year I have been in Boston, no matter what other plans I had for the night, festivities have started here.  People really go all out.  There are animatronic goblins and ghosts, 300 lb professionally carved pumpkins, cobblestone paths lined in orange and black balloons… They make cotton candy on our street!  After the trick-or-treaters had retired to survey their loot Gregor and I snuck out for some photos.

Love your photos. I love Halloween in Hawaii, but there’s something about Halloween + fall + East Coast that’s ten times more Halloweeny than Hawaii will ever be.

This looks like such a hoot! I had no idea that Beacon Hill was such an epicenter of Halloween activity. I didn’t make much of the actual evening of Halloween, looks like it was my loss. Also, I hope I’ll be seeing you at the swap on Thursday!
